Chalmers Alumni Association for Sustainability (CAAS) invites you to listen to two knowledgeable speakers presenting their views on how a future energy system based on renewables could be balanced:
Henrik Nordström, PhD student at KTH, works with balancing in a future scenario for the Nordic power system. He will introduce power system balancing, describe challenges with a high share of renewable power and discuss possible solutions to these challenges.
Jens Nordberg, Head of Energy Trading at Varberg Energi will present how his company works together with customers in order to add flexible resources, for example battery storages, to the energy system.
